This Privacy Policy describes how STACKUP ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our project expense management application. By using STACKUP, you agree to the practices described below.
STACKUP collects information you provide directly, including your name, email address, and account credentials. When you use the app, we store project data, receipts, expense records, mileage trips, time entries, and messages you create. We also collect usage data such as login timestamps and activity logs to provide and improve our services.
We use your information to operate and maintain the app, process expense tracking and project budgeting, authenticate your account, send notifications and reminders, process subscription payments, provide customer support, and improve our features and user experience.
When you sign in using Google OAuth, we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not access or store your Google password. You can revoke STACKUP's access to your Google account at any time through your Google account settings.
Subscription payments are processed securely through Stripe. STACKUP does not store your credit card number or payment details — that information is handled entirely by Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure. We retain only your subscription status and billing history.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or cancel your subscription, your data will be removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the app (such as Stripe for payments and Google for authentication), and only as necessary to provide those services. These providers are bound by their own privacy obligations.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can export your data through the app's reporting features, update your profile in Settings, or request full account deletion by contacting us. You may also opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission and secure storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy in the app or via email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
